ABOLISH NUCLEAR ARMS NOW!
The recent address by Eugene J. Carroll, Jr., Rear Admiral, USN (Ret.)* to the
Greater San Francisco Bay Area Physicians for Social Responsibility made it abundantly
clear that current U.S. nuclear arms policy is terribly misguided and threatens the
security of all nations, including our own. We invite and encourage you to be an
active participant in serving to roll back the numbers of weapons of mass destruction,
and thus be instrumental in co-creating a world permanently free of the possibility
of a nuclear/ecological catastrophe.

under Article VI of The Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT)...
C. The Canberra Commission of distinguished military leaders have clearly indicated
that current U.S. nuclear policy is misguided and that the only real long-term solution
for American security is to eliminate all nuclear weapons from the planet...
D. We ask that Presidential Decision Directive #60 be rescinded, and that you,
President Clinton, and Vice President Gore, take full responsibility in leading America
and the world in co-creating a peaceful plane wherein all nuclear weapons are permanently
abolished...
E. We call for your support of HR 479, House Resolution for Nuclear Disarmament,
