Spiritual Family

In the New World,
we will expand our awareness
to realize our simultaneous oneness and individuality
within the whole,
and we will maintain and deepen
the uniqueness, beauty, and sacredness
of the various spiritual traditions.

Not only will we be reborn
devoid of egoism, selfishness, and separatism,
but our spiritual traditions will be reborn,
resplendent with the true, essential teachings
that they were founded upon.

It is here that we can dive deep
into the spirit of the dynamic living message
which was brought to us
by the Saints, Avatars,
Masters, and Visionaries
who are the real servants and messengers
of truth.

As we acknowledge our common Source
and our common destiny,
we will realize that we can all live together
as one divine family
eternally.

As we begin to see in this way,
our devotion and spirituality will blossom
and we will fully realize and experience
the love of God
that is the eternal thirst
of our soul.

We are all in this together
and we need everyoneās help.

It is a group event...

yet this is no ordinary group.

We contain in our fold
infinite servants and manifestations of the Divine:
devotees and followers of
Mary and Jesus*, Radha and Krishna,
Shiva and Shakti, Buddha, Tara,
Allah, Jehovah, Elohim,
The Great Spirit,The Divine Mother, and Jah.
There are spiritual teachers, healers,
Saints, angels, ascended masters,
and all messengers
of peace and love
on Earth.

We are one big beautiful family.

*(Also known as Yashua and Sananda)

It is the faith and commitment
of each one of us
that will decide how well
and how quickly things go.

Those in the higher realms
are always offering us
their teachings of love and inspiration,
but it is our own free choice
to love and serve the Center
and thereby reap untold blessings
as the coming time unfolds...

for those who are ready and open
are already receiving
the divine gifts of Grace
that are showering down
upon all of us.

We are being called
to hear the words of the masters,
to purify and align ourselves,
and to surrender to the plan
for Love and Light on Earth.

We are being called to serve
in the unfoldment of this plan
by assisting our brothers and sisters
who are searching, open,
and ready to receive
the holy message.

It is through each of us
that the teachings
and higher vibrations of Love
are transmitted
to the world at large.

We can leave behind
our self-created prison,
our dramas, our disappointments,
our searching and struggling...

and simply give thanks to the universe
for the blessing of this moment,
for the miracle of life.

We can sing, pray,
and open to the Grace
that is waiting
to fill our heart...

turning all of our suffering and feelings of separation,
all our dreams, fears, and tears
to the Holy Name of God.

In every scripture
from every land
the teaching for this age
is simple and clear:

Whether we are a monk living in a cave, monastery or ashram,
or have a family, a house, and a job,

no matter what else we may or may not do...

in the sanctuary of our heart
and the deepest recesses of our soul,

in silence, chant, or song,
alone or with a thousand friends,

any time, any day, and any place
in any language and any faith,

the Name of God should be praised
in joy and gratitude...

cleansing our heart
as the waters of the Earth cleanse our bodies.

But if your heart is dry
and you feel lifeless and stuck,
go to a quiet place where you can be alone.

Close your eyes,
and in silence or to music,
let your body move freely in any way it needs to.

Find that place deep inside yourself
in spite of all resistance...
where your love resides.

Become like a whirlwind
and let the energy ripple through you,
dissolving and releasing
all of your repressed feelings,
all your blocked energies,
all of your walls...
by swaying, dancing, spinning, jumping,
laughing, crying, moaning÷
and allowing any sounds to surface.

Releasing all which is false,
layer upon layer...

all masks which you have accepted
from your society,

your schools,

your religions,

your parents...

breaking through the darkness
and confusion,

the layers
of mind, intellect, and false ego,

until you reach your soul.

Know absolutely
that anything you can release
is not your real self,
but is only a covering.

Hold back nothing.

When you are exhausted,
let the energy move your body,
dancing and swaying
in the free-flowing river of life.

Sit silently still now
and let the energy settle,
witnessing all thoughts that arise.

Then lie down
on your back
and relax.

Allow the silence and the peace
to flow through you.

Feel the layers fall away.

The world is a dream
we are all characters in.

It is almost impossible
to wake up from this dream
because the scenes keep changing
and we stay endlessly distracted
and hypnotized.

For as long as we are asleep
we will each be living
in a lonely material world.

When we are awakened
by the sweet healing call
of Godās flute-song of Love,
we will find ourselves surrounded
by other conscious radiant beings
and living in a spiritual world
of transcendent happiness.

Prayer and meditation
allow our minds and our lives to rest,
and Godās voice in our hearts
to be heard.

They allow a gap
between dream scenes.

They allow the movements
of the body and mind to settle
into the presence
of the present moment.

Sometimes there is no space,
no gap,
for Love to happen to us,
but when Love beckons us,
let us be open to receive it.

It is through prayer and meditation
that we slow down enough
to receive Grace.

Meditation is not simply another action
in our endless stream of actions.

Meditation is not merely another thought
in our endless stream of thoughts.

Meditation is not just another object to focus on
in the endless stream of objects in our lives.

We cannot 'do' meditation.

We can create a favorable environment
in which meditation can happen to us...
and wait patiently.

Meditation is the silence behind the sound...
the essence beyond the form...
our being behind our doing.

We might feel awkward for a time,
not having all the 'crutches'
that we have used for so long.

We might feel strange and naked,
just being ourselves without any masks.

This strange new space is sometimes called
"the dark night of the soul."

It is a beautiful and sacred time
that allows a coming of the new
and a falling away of the old.

We might try to grasp

our old ideas,

forms, and personas

as they start to dissolve

before us,

but it is useless...

let them dissolve.

We might try to grasp

new masks and costumes

in an imitation of spirituality,

but these too can be let go of...

...The breath comes in,
the breath goes out...

whatever arises,
let it fall...

whatever comes,
let it go...

The breath comes in,
the breath goes out...

thoughts come,
thoughts go...

sensations come,
sensations go...

The breath comes in,
the breath goes out...

and we are in the presence
of the eternal here and now.

From the pure space of being
arises all enlightened creativity
and expression.

Prayer and meditation
calm the turbulent waters
of the mind
and allow us taste the nectar
for which we are always yearning.

This simple state of peace and devotion
is transcendent to the dualities of this world.

It is a step inside
the heart of God.

Our heart is searching for the fullness of God,
the flowering expression of male and female
united as the Godhead...
the Divine Couple.

They are not in the sacred scriptures alone,
although They are there too...

They are not in the temples,
churches, and mosques alone,
although They are there too...

Their presence can be felt in the wind
as it brushes past,
dancing as the breath of life...

Their presence can be felt as the birds
as they chirp and sing a song of gratitude and joy...

Their presence can be felt upon seeing the children
laughing and playing, innocent and free...

Their presence can be felt within the flowers
that blossom in the spring
and share their gift with the world.

When Love of God is awakened

within our hearts,

we will see the dance of life

as a living scripture,

and this entire Earth

as a holy temple.

The Creation is flowering.

The song of God is sung everywhere.

Gratitude to the Creator

is our very nature.

What else can we do

as we realize

the beauty of all life,

but sing a song

of gratitude and praise?

We can wait as long as we like.

We have an eternity
of endless time and space
and we can take endless births in endless bodies
going through multitudes of experiences
and relationships.

But when our heart is yearning
for something we cannot touch or see,
let us honor this yearning
and let it lead us step by step
on our inner journey to the Source.

Listen to that still, small voice inside
which speaks like the song of a bird
or the silence of a flower,
and hear what it has to say.

Do not be afraid to ask:
Who am I?
Where have I come from?
Where am I going?
Why am I here?...

allowing that still, small voice to answer in its own way.

Talking to it, nurturing it,
protecting it, and honoring it.

If it seems distant,
sit quietly and invite its return.

It is the dearest friend
that we will ever have.

It is birthless
and deathless,
timeless and spaceless...

and it will lead us
through the turbulent waters
of this world
and guide us on our journey Home.

It is the Presence of God
within our heart.

Sometimes the voice will speak to us
through other people
and give us lessons in many ways;

sometimes it will speak to us
through the roaring of the ocean
or the rustling of the trees,
through the eyes of a child
or the touch of a friend...

and always

in the silence of our being

it speaks to us

in our hearts

as Love.

We can open our hearts and minds
to each other.

We can let go
of any limiting ways
of experiencing and living life.

We can be totally honest
about what we are thinking
and how we are feeling.

What is hidden
deep within our hearts
that is just longing to be expressed,
shared, and experienced?

Somewhere inside,
our treasure-trove of love lies waiting...
hidden from all.

The very nature of love
is to be naturally flowing.

As our inner yearning awakens
the light of the sun
will enter into the darkness
and shine there.

When we awaken faith

within our hearts,

we touch our native soil.

Faith is the bridge
between the world as we know it
and the world that is to come.

Faith is the bridge
between the limited reality we were taught to accept,
and the unlimited Reality of God's Kingdom.

Faith is the bridge
between where we may be now
and where we will be tomorrow.

Our faith is that we are all created from
and eternally related to
the infinitely loving heart of God.

Faith opens up the channels for all levels of Reality
to be joyfully experienced
in the present moment.

We can embrace the healing of our heart.

We can open to our deepest pain,
our vulnerability,
and our tears of sadness.

We can open to our deepest joy,
our tender love,
and our tears of gratitude.

We can open to our Mother Earth
and her compassion, patience,
and forgiveness.

We can open

to the ocean of Godās Love

within.

We can release our walls of fear,
enter into the cosmic womb of Love,
and be reborn
as whole and divine children.

We can breathe healing energy
into every aspect of our mind, body, and emotions,
accepting and bringing to life
every part of our being that has been neglected.

By healing the divisions within ourselves,
we create wholeness in the world.
